Privacy & Data Use Notice

This notice explains how information submitted through GovFi's website is used and which services support that process.

Information you provide

Our forms collect the fields you submit, such as your name, email address, government or organization, selected interests, investor type, and information about a challenge, application, or solution project. Optional links, comments, and other answers are collected when supplied. Application records also include acceptance of the Non-Confidential Submission Acknowledgment, its version, and a server-generated acceptance timestamp. Records include a submission reference, time, and source page.

How form information is used

GovFi uses this information to assess potential fit, understand public finance needs, respond to inquiries where appropriate, and communicate about the interests you select. Form records are stored in the website's Lovable Cloud-backed database and synced to GovFi's shared Google Sheet. Notifications containing submitted fields are sent to authorized GovFi recipients. The site also attempts a confirmation email to the address you provide. An accepted send is not a guarantee of inbox receipt.

Service providers and access

Services used for hosting, database storage, email delivery, Google Sheets, and analytics can process information as part of operating this website. GovFi personnel handling inquiries can receive submission information through the records, Sheet, and notification emails. Delivery status is recorded to support reliable processing and recovery from service failures.

Website analytics and cookies

Google Analytics may collect website activity and technical information where configured, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Your browser's settings can limit cookies; doing so may affect website behavior. This notice does not represent that a site-specific analytics opt-out is available.

Where configured, GovFi records audience navigation, challenge topics and selections, project update-form openings, form starts, validation or saving errors, and server-confirmed receipts. These custom events use only predefined categories and public project or challenge identifiers—not names, email addresses, organizations, field values, or query strings.

Initial builder submissions are not confidential

Do not send trade secrets, sensitive personal information, or proprietary details in an initial proposal. Builder applications are subject to the Non-Confidential Submission Acknowledgment displayed on the application form. Any later confidentiality or commercial arrangement must be separately agreed.
